If I'm not mistaken stock 400ex a-arms are +1.5 or 2" on a 300 so it would be 3.5 or 4".

stock 400 arm are only like +.75 to +1 wider and I have +2 400 lsr arms on my 300 and it's only like 48 in. wide now

I believe he was confused - +2 400ex a-arms, put onto a 300ex, would add about +3.5 - +4.0 to the 300ex.

Only 48 in.??? my stock 300ex is only 40-40.5 in. wide...

I'm sitting here with a ATV Riders mag. and it specs. the 300ex at 43.5in. wider and believe that what the Honda site has too.

it is only 2.5 inches wider? with +2 a-arms for a 400 im confused i am getting a new front end in hopefuly a couple months what kind im not sure but i am definitly getting it

There a some 400ex +2 chrome burgurd arms on ebay for 399.00, but it's +2.5.
