450R, 400ex shocks

Does any body know if 450R front shocks will fit on a 400ex?:)

Yes they do, but you have to grind alittle off on the top shock mount.

Do you mean that you have to grind some off of the frame or off or the shock where they mount to the frame.

Also, because the 450R shocks are 1/4 " longer, does that cause any problem with having to compress the shock to get it to mount up?

Yes they do fit, they are better then stock, but really should be re-valve and hav the travel lengthened by GT Thunder or Derisi Racing.
