z400 shocks on 400ex

ive found a set of `06 z400 shocks for $125.00 wil they fit my 400ex and would this be a good upgrade ? what would be the difference between these and 450r shocks . they are new style with rezzies.and are adjustable.

I think their a little longer eye to eye. 400ex stock shocks are about 17" eye to eye. Find out how long the z shocks are.

stock 400ex shocks are 16" eye to eye

Actually their a little over 16". Thats why i said about 17".

my z is like 30857308753 feet off the ground, so if you put them on, your probably going to need them rebuilt or it will sit to high, 450r shocks are shorter than z shocks, becouse if you put 450r shocks on a z, it sits lower

And 450r shocks are slightly longer than 400ex shocks eye to eye. Could put the yfz shocks on their. best cheep stock shock replacement for mx.
Some one on here was sellign a pair for only $80

thanks for all the input but i went riding yesterday and one of the guys i met was selling a set of 450r shocks that have been revalved for a 400ex and i bouhgt those for $150 . thanks agin fur your input
