00 Warrior.... Starts and idles perfectly as soon as you touch the throttle bogs and dies if you hold it long enough. Cleaned carb and rebuilt it. Same thing. Air cleaner is ok. All stock machine

Any ideas.

My old ATC 350x did this one day all of a sudden. it turned out that the clip on the needle fell off. It still idled good, but bogged out when i would hit the gas. so check the needle first

check the plug we had one that the plug was not in all the way and it would run fine some time and others it would do just as you said start great and idle but give it gas and it would die

This is a problem with most warriors, it's a security thing. Check to see if the parking brake is fully disengaged, it'll idle fine but when you touch the gas it bogs like crazy.

yeah i don't know how the warriers are. however, my friend had this problem with a blaster. it was something with the parking brake he had to remove. it was something electrical. i am not familiar with it because i am a honda guy and hondas do not have this on them. other things to check. make sure the needle clip is in place. also, mainjets can fall out too. all of these would be the first things i would check.

The parking brake has a rev-limiter.

Yep its a parking brake rev limiter thing, take the stupid thing off unless kids riding it. Up uner the nose is the harness piece for it. we had one in the shop like that finally figured that out.

also check your spark plug gap. My warrior did the same thing and i pulled out the plug and it was old so i replaced it and it ran fine

i had the same problem with my warrior. checked the plug, cleaned the carb, checked the valve clearance, fuel lines, basically everything. it ended up being what was said earlier with the parking brake. i just bought 2 replacement "fuses" that go in there and it worked fine. but i feel your pain man, took me like 3 weeks to find the problem
