05 and up 400ex motor or bottom end

Looking to convert my 99 400ex to a reverse model, need a complete bottom end or whole motor for a 05 and up 400 thanks

I have a friend that has a 06 400ex that fell off a trailer and got drug down the road for miles and destroyed the quad but motor never got touched and he said he was going to sell it on e-bay. I offered him $750 (as a low ball offer) because the quad had less then 1 hour on it and he said no. If you ant to make an offer I'll let him know.

I do not know what a new motor would cost, but at 7,50 he wouldn't take what is he trying to get out of it? I really would like to have a bottom end becouse my motor is fine. I just get tired of pushing it when can use reverse on my sons and wifes guad. Sucks to hear the quad was trashed. I have a buddy who just let somone use his wife utility for hunting a rolled it down a mountain side, flipped some 20 feet in the air. Anyway if he puts a price on it let me know thanks.

My friends got a complete bottom end that came off of a seized 05. Crank MIGHT need to be replaced. Shifts great and reverse works great. $500.
