350X clutch update:

Someone here mentioned having too much oil may cause clutch slippage... first I've ever heard of it, but that wasn't the fix, nor did it have any effect... but I learn something new everyday...

:(

My idea is this. Disassemble, take each fiber plate out and lightly sand them with 220grit sandpaper to give some texture to the fiber so that it'll create some friction/traction on pressure plate.

Does this sound ok?

What would you do if your clutch slipped? *I know I'll end up getting a new clutch, but what other option would be near last resort?*

Thanks for your help...

When I had my very first dirtbike 1991 CR 125, the clutch was slippign and I had no money. I took it apart and instead of ruffing up the fibers like you metioned, I ruffed up the steel/aluminum plates instead. My friend did it also on one of his older dirtbikes. We just used air sander and it went very quick and installed them again and it helped for alittle while. Hope this helps.
