1 - use a 45 or a 48 pilot. and 2 turns out (or so).

2 - I hope you don't still have the stock needle... use a '04 CRF needle in the 4th groove or the HRC needle.

3 - that main is way too fat. Usee a 170 - 175 at most.

4 - turn your idle speed adjustment up before you try starting it. I hope you know where it is... Turn it clockwise about 1/2 turn.

5 - use the choke and don't touch the throttle when starting. Maybe just one little blip of the throttle can be used when you are NOT trying to start it, just to add a little fuel - remember, this carb has an accelerator pump and it will squirt fuel of you blip the throttle - even when it's not running...

Let us know if that doesn't work...

Keep the stock 42 pilot, they start better. Call Baldwin and tell him what you are running and he will help you out. I did, and mine runs the best it ever has after doing what he said...
