I recently got a 14t front sproked for my 400ex. I have tightened the adjuster all the way and the chain is in spec, but when i go ride for a lil bit it gets really loose. I was also looking at the chain and i noticed some o rings missing and a few cracked ones. My question is what is a good chain to buy? Also with the 14t sprocket will i need to get a smaller chain than stock? (94) Is my adjustment all the way out just b/c my chain is so stretched out? Also will there be a noticable amount of power out of a new chain? Thanks for taking the time to read....

I have heard that if you get a non oring chain that you will notice a difference in pwer to the ground because its alot easier for the engine to spin, but those kind of chains will wear out alot faster

you need a longer chain, just two or three links is all you need. stick to a o-ring chain for sure. i like sidewinder chains, bu they are very expensive. if you have the money i would get one, otherwise regina and RK are both good chains

I was thinkin a shorter chain. I dropped a sprocket in the front and the adjustment is all the way tight.

lookin at chain on rmatv.com they got a RK X-ring for 46.99 and has a 7,400 tensile strength. Would that be enough or should i go with something that has 8500?
