They look kind of like TLD knock offs. I would buy one just for a spare helmet to have for a friend to ride in, but my dome is worth more than $80 to me. Snell and DOT approval is promising though.

i dont think my helmet has ever saved me, or ever will. i say if you're just a trail rider, and not a xc or mx racer, that this helmet should be fine for you...

Looks like a great deal for a light riding helmet.

But for racing.. you really need to invest in a GOOD helmet.

Top notch helmet, boots, and gloves are paramount. Racing you ARE going to wreck, and wreck hard. Quality knee braces couldn't hurt either.

I just went into one of my local bike dealerships today and they are selling ZOX helmets there for $74.99. I'm probably going to pick one up for my brother and friends to use.

if its DOT approved and SNELL aproved then its fine....when you buy an expensive helmet your buying a name not better protection. to be aproved by both snell and dot they have to go through tests like all helmets that a DOT and SNELL approved.

buying a zox would be fine i kno plenty of riders that have bought a cheap helmet and put it through its paces and have been protected just as good as any other helmet out there.
