View Full Version : exaust for a 400 soon to be 460

what full pipe should i get for my 400ex. im goinna make it a 460 in a month or so so if that makes a difference on the exaust or not. what would u reccomend

I would buy a Sparks if you primarily ride on a track and don't ride on public land. I had a Sparks exhaust for around 6 months. I was pulled over by the local rangers 3 times for being to loud so I went to a White Brothers E-series. I had it powder and ceramic coated but then changed the color scheme of my bike and sold it. Now I have a Yoshi full system that I am happy with. IMO Sparks, HMF, Yoshi, Duncan, and LRD all make top notch exhausts for the 400ex

ive got hmf stainless on my 440 and it performs great. My 440 can outrun my 250r just by a hair!

i think the sparks is outta the question cuz im assuming its loud and i ride alot on public land. so i was thinkin about the yoshi but what is it like for noise????

sparks E6 is the best,bottom line. they arent that loud either.

I think you can get some kind of quiet core for Sparks, Im not real sure though, I like my ProCircuit too it aint all that loud either

Word on the HMF. You can run it wide open for power or slip the core in there to stay legal

Im runnin the Bill Ballance Carbon Fiber Series on my 460 and love it

I have a 460ex and I bought the Yoshi pro series titanium full system it comes with the tri-oval canister and the quality is second to nobody

sparks. so thats probley the best you all figure how loud do you figure it would be compaired to a 400ex stock with a wbros slip on pipe??? and can u get the sparks with a ss head pipe or ceramic coated or somthing thanks

My sparks is Ceramic Coated....

It is loud that is for sure, but it is not the loudest that i've heard...

my buddy has a T-4 slip-on and it is louder than mine!!
