Connecting Rod!!!!!!

Hi.....I got a 2005 YFZ 450 and my connecting rod broke in half.....I would like to know what kind of connecting rod to buy.....I hear that there's some that they say is unbreakable????

That would be the Falicon rod. I think it's over $600 just for the rod though :ermm: .

just buy the complete 06 crank. then you will be a true 450 cc. cheaper then the falicon rod. while you have the cases apart, do the oil mod. and you will be good to go!

I had the oil mod done to my 05....and it still broke so that why I want a stronger rod

hmmm you sure there arent other problems??? but a stronger rod is the falicon. i think they are 5-600 bucks.

Try giving Max Power a call. They were using the Falicon and have since changed to a new rod made by somone else and they really seem to like them. (608)-224-2524. Ask for Will or Cliff.
