Powroll conversion ? Decomp

How do you get the decompression releast to work with the 350x/300ex conversion. I heard you can use a Xr Bracket down by the kicker. what year and size machine was it from ? Whats the Part # ?

You need to get a decompression cable off a xr 500, 400 or 250 and attach it to your handle bars with either another lever. The release by the kicker hits the exhaust. Powroll said that the stock set up sucks anyways and this is the better way to go. I am going to use my reverse lever to attach the decompression cable to since I no longer have reverse. I have not done it yet cause I am building powrolls 430 stroker kit right now but I think this set up will work. This is what powroll recommends.

nope, the exhaust hits it, and it sucks anyways

If your putting a 350x engine in a 300ex and want to use the auto decompression release you need to use the lever , cam and bracket from a 250x. It fits perfect . I put a 350x engine in my 250x frame so I know it will work
