Does anyone have any information about this type of hybrid engine? What components, crank, piston, builder, horsepower, etc.... Anything?

I think its a PSI top end, not Rotax but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. If it is the PSI top end I wouldn't waste your money. A buddy of mine bought a quad that had one of those and it wasn't worth a crap.

You stand corrected. Its one cylinder from a Ski doo 800 not a PSI.

If someone has more detailed pictures, then please post them. I want to see how the coolant hoses were set up.

i seen a guy running a setup like this locally. It was for sale at a shop for a while.i know he raced it in mx and won a championship in district 23 i think in 2005. idid see a picture of it in a local news paper getting the holeshot:eek2: go to this website and look in the past results armca.org, but i'm willing to bet it had a mxz 500 twin jug on it so he could run the 250 class. hope that helps

things like this really make me wonder what the R could have been if they kept on improving it...it seems the snowmoblies world is the only area where they dont hold the 2 stroke engines back from what they can do!

most people go to the sled stuff cause they r pretty available and inexpensive compared to quads.the dirt bikes don't hold back at all but they just make the wrong type of power.
