Ya i used to like them until they made their last album that sukd. Listen to +44, its a new band with travis and mark as lead vocals and bass, they sound just like old school blink but a lot better. I just heard, when ur heart stops beating, from them and its sik.
My mane bands are Zeppelin, and greenday right now. I play drums and its fun to play to their music. And Zeppelin's straight up the best rock band ever. Just my opinion.

David Gilmore from Pink Floyd. His guitar style is one of the most original syles I have ever heard. Majority of the stuff I write is based around his style and sound.

being a guitar player myself i have to say that Gilmore is great, I love the way he layers a song with his hipnotic riffs.
I would also say Hendrix, SRV,Clapton, Kirk Hammet,Steve Vai, and of course the one that made me even want to play the guitar in the first place.. Joe Satriani !
But really there are so many that i could go on and on! These are just a few that have made an impact in my life.

Most recently i have been impressed by the work of Chris Broderick...Check this out!

how about the band evryone knows, but know one has ever heard of? known simply as THE BAND-levon helm, robby robertson, garth hudson, and i forgot the other's names. more musical talent in any one of them than most entire bands will ever have. also crdited with "plugging in" bob dylan
