Anyone ever put gripper pieces on the side of the fender by like your knees for extra grip? If so what did you use?

I had grip pads made by Stomp, on my yfz for a while. I didn't like them too much. It seemed to produce a lot more wear on my pants as well.

I've been running TechSpecs Gripster skins and they work great. I ran stomp for a while, but they chewed my pants up. The rubber skins from TechSpec-usa.com are a great necessity if you stand up when you ride.

Ditto, You can buy different colors, different course-ness (probably not a word) and you can cut to fit any shape plus its relatively cheap.
