Be fine, but for top performance their should be a jet size change every 20 degrees change in temp.

It will be on the rich side, but like slow said for top performance you should jet it. It's not that hard if you have basic mechanic skills.

I never changed jets. I went from summer to winter on the same jets 2 years ago and the plug reading was still perfect and that was with no muffler too. I was running a 165 main.

My quad runs better when its sucking cold air. Colder air makes more power though. Here in oklahoma people look forward to alil cold weather. Not as cold as the northern states though.

Rooster300ex is right about the cold weather thing. When I ride my bike I notice a increase in power in the cold weather too, except for one thing it's cold outside.

Colder the air the more air your sucking.

My pocket bike if i drive it in 80 degree weather and then let it sit till night when it is say 50 degrees their was a huge power differance.

No need buying a jet kit, just go to a dealership and buy the jets that you need. You'll end up saving a lot of money.

You should rejet if you plan on riding during the winter as it will start a lot easier and perform a lot better along with being better for your engine.

The reason why vehicles run better in colder weather and why you need to rejet is because the air is denser when it becomes cold, meaning it contains more oxygen. Your pulling in the same amount o fuel because your jets haven't changed but there is more oxygen in your mix causing a lean condition. More oxygen = more power as long as you are jetted correctly.

Rule #1: Don't listen to a thing slow says.

No they are not. Dyno Jet has their own sizing. Check out what the pilot jet and main jet size is in your carb and I should be able to tell you what to order from your dealer.

That first sentence made no sense, at all. And nothing you typed is fact.

It will be leaner, he either has it backwards or it was a typo.
