I have been running the Spark arrestor in my E- Series slip on using about 15 plates. Is it ok to run the E series with out the spark arrestor? will there be any gain?

I have read that you don't get any significant gains. But I would not take mine out, as I ride in areas that require a spark arrestor. That was one of the major selling points of the WB, a USFS approved spark arrestor. The only problem is that it is loud, and if they enforce the sound levels where I ride I might not pass.

By taking them all out you lose bottom end but gain on the top.

Curious, does this person know that the discs themselves IS the spark arrestor? The disks play more of a role than just a spark arrestor. The key is that the exhaust is NOT exiting through an open pipe but rather a precise gap in the E Series discs, so this can be considered a legal USFS Spark Arrestor. There is NO spark arrestor to take off. If you remove all the disks then you change the entire power curv of the pipe.

ahhhhhh it sounds sweet with the spark arrestor out!!!!
that is my feeling but what ever you want to do, you will not hurt the engine unless your jetting is off!!!
