400 ex spark plug blow out !!

I recently got this ex in a trade off my buddy i knew the spark plug had been stripped befor but ive been riding it for a while know without problems and then the plug blew out threads and all. has this happend too anyone before and what did you fix it..

Get a helicoil kit to rethread the hole in the origional size.

but will i have to remove the head too put a heilcoil in? i was worried about a lot of garbage getting on the piston

I would pull the head to make sure there are no peices of the threads left over.

Yea your gonna have to pull the head off no matter what. If not you will get alot of trash on top of the piston.

Just put some wheel bearing grease on the tap and tap the hole real slow. If you are carefull you do not have to pull the head

I shopvac and an extra hand always help.. if you dont want to take the head off..

mabie you could blow air with an air compresor throu the intake, with the intake valves open obviously, while taping the threads. In theory it would blow out all the shavings, right?
A vacuume just doesent seem like it would have the balls.
