I have an '04 Grizzly 660 and need new tires. I'm thinking of either Mud Light XT's or 589's. But my question is, I currently have stock 25's, can I safely go to 26's without changing rims and causing damage to my drive/ shock components?

Enless you go with an extreem grip like an outlaw or edl vampire most people go with 27s with no real problems. Most bigger bikes doent even need a lift for 27s. Most people I have talked to clame lifts or alchole was involved in brakeing drive componets.
oh and as long as you get tires for your rim size the stocks ones will be fine

Just be careful with the big tires. Big tires like to eat (snap) drivetrain:scary:
