kfx has high/ fast idle

It has been doing this and it bugs me. what would cause this and how could I fix it. maybe I should cleand the carb? Thanks.

sitting on the bike look to the left side of the carb for a black knob. turn it one way and the idle will back down. also make sure the choke isnt stuck on or the cable isnt kinked.

if the idle screw doesnt fix anything, check the carb for air leaks and make sure the throttle cable isnt pulled/twisted/kinked.

Also check that the cable isn't adjusted too tight and holding the throttle open. The adjuster would be located on the throttle cable & behind the boot that won't stay in place on the right side of the bars.
