I'm building up a budget 300ex from the frame. I just ordered some 400ex a-arms and spindles for it. I've searched this up and down so don't turn this into a thread about that. This thread is about shocks. I've read I'll need a 14.5" shock up front to fit with no adaptors. I've also heard the Banshee shocks are 14.5". Does anybody know of any other stock shock with that measure? I'm mostly upgrading with oem stuff to keep costs down. Thanks.

Not too sure about the banshee shocks, however if I was doing what your doing I would just go ahead and buy the shock relocator kit and run stock 400ex front shocks. my .02

I'm going some different shock that don't need a relocater. When I get everything done I'll probably switch to some 450r shocks.

I think banshee shocks might be around 16" but not sure. Yfz450 shocks are about 16" long and i saw a banshee with yfz450 shocks so im thinking banshee shocks are around 16".

Its probably blaster shocks that are 14".

I would just get the relocater for like $40 cause after you baught the relocator the 14" shocks would be worthless.
