for mx what do people do for there swing arm and shock? they dont use longtravel rears for mx correct? with a linkage what are the benifits? thanks jake

There are a lot of different setups, but alot of pros use long travel rear setups. Some extremely nice long travel units are the Lonestar Outlaw setup, and the Walsh Savior, almost identical setups, they come with a swingarm and linkage. You can also run standard travel in the rear and just get an aftermarket linkage. It will change the shock leverage and make it more progressive as well as lower the rear for better ride height and handling. +1 1/4" is the most used extended swingarm as well.
