how does the warrior/raptor 350 stand up against 400's....i have a z400 but hate the high stance....i love the power don't get me wrong but power don't do anything when you tip over.i relized mainly the warrior sits pretty sleek and low and look pretty kool.

Any suggestions of what i would like better then my z400 would be cool.by the way i am only 145/i am 15

thanks Zack

A Z400 is a much better quad than a Warrior. It's newer, got much better equipment, and gobs more power. I'd keep it for sure. I wouldn't drop it. If you hate the tippyness, i'm assuming you actually ride it trails and stuff, and not just drag or flat-track. Dropping it would probably be a bad thing. Just invest in some +2 a-arms (Burgard are probably the most cost-effective), some descent shocks (works are probably best for the money, if you're 15, you're probably on a budget). And get a Tusk G-Force +4 axle, again probably the best for the money. Do all the suspension, and the work will still be less than a warrior.

Hey knock off the warrior bagging:D I know they maybe dated but they are still very very fun trail machines.Certainly they leave much to bve desired especially if one has ridden a new 450 or so.They may not out handle a z400 on the mx track but with a few mods they are a formidable trail machine.A good slip on and aftermarket air filter and lose the stock carb if you can and get a keihin roundslide(pe)carb. You can get these for less then $20 on eturd if you look around. They also like a high comp piston too.Even with a 2 valve head these things can be made to run strong.People seem to forget what these things could do since the 400ex and new 4fiddys came out.;) Not to mention they are bulletproof....almost:D

you could get a durablue lowering kit. it dont hurt ur travel at all and it lowers ur stance by about 2-4". they run $130 for the rear and $70 for the front

i have a raptor 350 which is virtually the same as a warrior. coming from a z400 you wouldnt like the loss of power or how heavy the front end is.

Raptor/Warrior 350 would rank about even with the 300ex. Stock for stock.

The 350 is a bit faster, but the 300ex has a tad better geometry.

The Warrior (w/ pipe, filter, rejet), speed wise, would rank between a 300ex and a 100% bone stock 400ex.

As mentioned above.. I agree with just updating the suspension on the z400. ;)
