What do I need to do about low compression? People have told me multiple ways of dealing with this and i want to get more opinions. Its dealing with a 2002 honda xr100 so if any has anything to say, please tell me. I need some help!

Your going to need to do a rebuild on the motor. Depending on how bad it really is after it's opened up will tell you the lengths you'd have to go to get the motor running like new again. It could just be a new set of rings, or you might need to get the cylinder bored/honed , new piston and rings and install new valves. Good luck

A leak down test will tell you where you are loosing the compression (rings and/or exhaust valve and/or intake valve). But you could also just skip that, go ahead tear it down, and measure/inspect the bore, piston, and valves. From there you can decide what needs to be replaced.
