i have stock 450r shocks and they are preloading really hard...every bump i go over they absorb the bump then when they comeback really hard... any reason why there doing what they are and how to fix it??? thanx tyler

On the bottom of your shocks you have a rebound adjustment turn counter clockwise a click or two and take it for a ride.counter clockwise speeds up the rebound and clockwise slows down the rebound little screw regular screwdriver

You might want to slow the rebound down so go clockwise first

also would no air in the shocks cause this? becuase thats what one of my friends thought it would be.

No...It's the rebound.. and no matter what you do its nearly impossible to slow down on stock shocks....the rebound adjustment is almost useless.:ermm:

well it kinda feels like there empy, and there riding really rough

Yes if the nitrogen has been lost the rebound on the shock will be very fast. They will feel like they are just springs very bouncy.
