I haven't seen any in at least 3 years now, even on the local scene. Still have a set though.:)

I do at one specific track. It's like running on pavement almost because the dirt is so hardpack and they bite awesome.

What offset rims were the all of the tires mounted on? Also when you say your steering is "hard" are you trying to do this with the front end in the air or with the tires on the ground?

ok,so the grooved radials are on 2.5 offset, which steering good.
the holeshot mx's are on 1.5 offset.this is when the quad is on the ground.i'm sure it's in the front tires or wheels.will the off sets make a difference.it looks like my holeshots are wear funny on the inside edge of tread.any info would be appreciated....

your offsets aren't making any sense. Are those numbers the measured width on the inside or outside of the rim? Also almost every aftermarket front rim for those tires should be about 5 inches wide and should come in offsets like 4:1, 3:2, or 2:3. The first number being the inside measured depth and the second number is the outside.

i have 3:2 with hole shot mx's that r very hard to turn.
i have 2:3 with grooved radials that r very easy to turn.
but the mx's have a funny wear pattern to the outside edge tread.it's a very strange wear pattern.but i really think it's the tires, not the wheels.has any-one had that problem with the 19 inch holeshot mx's????????????:ermm:

radials have way more bite then the holeshots, I race them here in europe on pavement like hardpack tracks like pont de vaux and when you steer with radials they turn direct, and holeshots or I used soft compound razr mx, then you steer and you don't go direct to where you steer, they just slide a bit before turning. Thats my opinion.

If this is the case the holeshots should be easier to turn. When you put the radials on does your quad sit wider?

yes it sits wider.the radials r 2:3 offsets.

Hmm that should mean that those would require more effort to steer, if you had your quad sitting on the ground anyway.
