ok im seriously considering building a 400ex from scratch (like gettin a motor and frame and goin from there)
and i was wounderin if anybody has done that yet and posted up there whole build

There have been a lot of similar builds, where guys tear down and rebuild the whole thing basicly changing everything and posting pics. Definately a cool build, good luck with it.

I am currently in the process of looking for a cheap 400EX frame to build into a hybrid. I would also like to see some builds.

CHEVYZ your PM box if full...but I have an 01 400ex frame gusseted and painted black in good shape and would like $200 shipped for it. Let me know if your interested I have a bunch of pictures. Thanks-Max

might be hard if its ur first time worken on a 400ex. but if not go for it. and for a cheap 400 to build a hybrid u better off going for a 250r with an aftermarket frame because it has a better geometry. its going to be cheaper just to buy a built one

I agree on the frame, if I could find a 250r frame, I would jump on the deal! I already have an engine and most componets for a build.
