What is the best thing to use on your smingarm bolted when removing and cleaning to help prevent it from seizing up?

A little heat and a brass hammer for removal. Use emery cloth to clean, and either anit seize or grease upon re-installation.

Its not seized just wondering what works the best.I ride everywhere including water and was gonna pull it out and clean it.
