Well i am about to buy a new 450R. However i can get a smoking deal on the 2006 model. Is there any differance on the 2006 that the 2007 has? If you can please list some of the changes that would help me out alot

only the colors. nothing else everything is the same.
if u can get a good deal get a 06.

Differences besides color will go unnoticed. Just get the 06.

Well i seen on this site under models that the 2006 has a 10.5 compression and the 07 has a 12.1? Is that true? Is the head and cases the same?

04 and 05 models came with 10.5:1 pistons. The 06 and 07 models both come with 12:1.

yupp, there r no differences between the '06 and '07 except plastic colors

yea the 06/07 are the same, but heck even if you could get a steal on an 05 it would be worth it, especially if your building a full mx ride, the motor doesnt matter anyways.

Front spindles on the 05 apparently have better handling characteristics than the 06

the 07 has a different carb, supposedly 41.5mm FCR, check service honda part numbers, they are different and the 07 is much more expensive
