Greg is due here this evening to pick up his frame.

Gusseted and coated

gbcap is a big boy, and he loves to go big on the mx track so the footpeg area was agreat concern as we have been seeing alot of issues in this area.

The fix was 2 plates to tie in the main tubes, rear cross tube and the factory gusset

when i drill thru that one gusset for the skid plate mounts what should i do to protect the p/c?

Nothing should be required. I would suggest a smaller pilot hole, then the correct size drill bit etc. Heat, as in trying to drill to large of a hole at one shot, is the only caution I could forewarn you about. Other then that, turn the fram upside down, mount the chassis skid, mark the holes, and drill.
