I have a external dvd drive. When I put a disk in it acts like there isn't one in it on the computer.

is it a burnt dvd. cause sometimes they wont read burnt dvds.

Mine's been doing the same thing lately, I asked a buddy and he told me that the lazr may be dirty.. If I get around to taking mine apart I'll let you know what's wrong with mine maybe it's the same deal.. :)

No I tried other cds. I'm pissed because I spent $130 on it.
