99 trans replaced with 05 [Archive]

Can the trans gearing be put into my 99 to give it reverse?

i think u will need to swap bottom ends. and the '05 bottom end should just bolt onto the '99

Thanks for the info, i have seen lately were they are selling the complete gear set under 200. :ermm:

yalk around a little, but i don't think u could just stick the gear set on there. there is a bit more to it than that...but hey, u never know

Should be fine, they are only different internally.
