Hello Everyone, Are there any fluids behind the cover where the pull start goes? Im thinking of getting one for the boys lt 80. Also on the same side of the motor is that where the clutch is located? Im also thinking of removing some rollers from the clutch is this a hard project. Please excuse my ignorance of the lt 80 motor.

No fluids to worry about. Make sure you use the cork gasket with the pull start.
Clutch maint. is not hard, just time consuming the first time or 2.
To make it 100000% more easy, cut the footpegs in 1/2 and make a spacer to joint them back together. This allows the left footpeg to come off and out of the way.

i think chris is in parris tenn.,look up chris grissom racing.it has been to long since my boys raced them.beware of the motor cases cracking as this is the week link & if you have them reinforced before they break they last alot longer but they still will break if they ride it hard. later sean
