yeah man it was a good time today also. we got a couple hrs in before it started raining on us. but it dropped like 10 degrees after it started raining so we called it a day. i didnt get any pics although i wish i did. the first 5 min. we were there i hit one of the burms as a ramp and landed on the back tires/grab bar. busted my ***. i bet it would have made a good picture. anyways man where are the pics? i couldnt find them?

chea....st joe is a good place to ride..nice and open for all levels of riding.

edit...dont take a trailer with an expired liscense plate or the fuzz will give you a $133 ticket

or at least when their boss conservation dude is there

rb9594
11-10-2006, 05:45 PM
darn, that was an expensive ticket. one time me and a buddy got caught whiping donuts at a community lake in perryville when i was in high school. we were drunk off our rear, and he busted us with a nice $400 fine for each of us. He lets us go with the drinking, but told us if we contested the fine, he would bring it up to judge. very expensive donut!

thanks

I like st. joe also but if you guys have not tried Suttons bluff then you need to. I just love those back County roads to drift around the curves. The trails are awesome too! Here's a picture of my daughter at St. Joe on her 250Ex

2 of us went up on Sunday and had a blast. great weather. but it was crazy crouded. back where the drag racing goes on was a little hectic at times. but fun none-the-less. was anyone else there?

Unverfehrt400ex
11-29-2006, 09:44 PM
we went over there saturday for the day. ya couldnt ask for any better weather for ridin. It was the most crowded ive ever seen it there but that wasnt really a bad thing. that drag races were awesome to watch. cant wait to go back once it warms up again

Nate_450R
11-29-2006, 09:48 PM
yeah your right that was the most crowded ive ever seen it...the drags werent real big there sunday. not many people racin. i was there a couple weeks ago and there were tons of racers there with rides set up for nothing but to go strait. yeah i cant wait for some warmer weather again.

It all sounds fun!!! But I haven't made a very big tour around there yet. The first time I went, I was there for about 45 mins in till my quad broke and left me stranded. :grr: Luckly I wasn't by myself.:D

Nate_450R
11-30-2006, 08:22 AM
Your not the guy i talked to a while back who's clutch went out are you? a few weeks ago?

gotwarrior
11-30-2006, 08:24 AM
Nope... I did this in the summer time... My Carb fell off. Them whoops on that one side (about 1/8 of a mile long) are hard on a quad that dosn't have any aftermarket shocks. But that way I have elkas now.:D

Scott-300ex
12-11-2006, 09:52 AM
Speakin of the whoops are you guys any good at them? They have to be some of the hardest around.

Deep and spaced out like they are.

I'm fast threw them, 3rd gear on my 250r I pass up everybody I ride with. But man they are rough.

I've also only backed away from 2 hills down there.

I like that place a lot and want to go now. LoL.

I go to St. Joes every Saturday as well......i've gone 8 weeks straight...this Saturday the 16th is suppose to be a great day sunny and 60 degrees,,,anyone going?

Nate_450R
12-11-2006, 10:44 PM
back to the whoops comment...i havent rode too many different places but i have to agree, these whoops are about the hardest i have ever been on. i find myself treating them as small doubles. i cant just fly through them i have to jump a small section at a time. am i doing them right? i know there has to be a better way. i ride a 450R so i have the power. i have come to the conclusion that you have to treat them as all or nothing. either go all out through them or hit them like i am. any suggestions?

Unverfehrt400ex
