HP numbers

can some body tell me how much HP a legal engine for racing of 450 cc can put to the ground? and also how power for a 250 two strokes.

i want to know the diferece in the numbers of HP between a two strokes 250 and four strokes 450

u can get as much as 65hp out of a 450, but that is wayyyy pushing it on reliability. u can get even more with NOS or alchohol, but that is not legal for racing. with a 265kit on the 250, u can get close to 60 hp....but that is pushing it too...with all that power coming from those motors, u will need to rebuild the motor every few wks to keep it running.

realistically, u will get about 57-58 from a 450, and u could get about 55 from a 250 that is bored to a 265.

a stock bore 250 will give u like 50
