what is the differance between the ceramic coating on the dasa pipe and what does it actually do for you compared to the regular pipe?
can any1 post any pics of the two different headers or do they both look the same?
is the ceramic worth the extra money?

thanks

Ceramic coating acts as an insulator. It keeps the heat in the pipe. When the gasses lose heat the molecules slow down and the air condences (sp?), causing a traffic jam in your pipe for lack of a better analogy.

Keeping the heat in keeps the gasses expanded and flowing. Therefore allowing a higher rate of flow, and bit more hp.

Ceramic coating keeps looking good a lot longer than a bare pipe also. ;)

I thought that ceramic coating dissipates heat, keeping it cooler?

nope, but your header won't be nearly as hot, it kindof keeps the heat inside..

so do you think the ceramic header is worth the extra hundred dollar?
