I want to convert my Raptor to a three wheeler just like terry jones(to make it street legal) http://streetlegalatv.com/ for you guys who dont know him.

what my Questions is after i convert it how do i regester it? how do i get a new tittle for it that says its a motorcycle?
do i regester it as a custom motorcycle or what?
and what is the prosses of doing it i live in texas.

Probably because it can't be done in the US. The US streetlegal 4wheel to 3wheel conversions use 2wheels in the front and a single wheel in the rear. This is the best way because all you have to do when you want to get crazy in the dirt is re-install the 4wheeler swingarm and axle setup.

There is no federal law that would prevent it. It would be left up to the states individually. I know it could be done in CA for a time, but I think CA DMV has put a stop to it.

you see the thing is 4 wheelers isnt considered as a motorcycle in texas state laws. by converting it to a three wheeler that would make it a motorcycle.

I think it just has to do with turning. Its easier for it to turn since its just got one wheel.

Actually, I remember the biggest problem to overcome was the solid rear axle where most states require a diferential axle. I would look into that new independant rear suspension unit and see if that would work to make a quad street legal if I were going to try to do one.

I always wanted to try that. I have a single sided swingarm from a Honda street bike compete with wheel and brake.

Im gonna get a custom swing arm done on my raptor stretch it so it can handle better i wanna be able 2 keep up with street bikes:D
