I saw this on a ATVRIDER member's MySpace.........SLOW

I have a 400ex hybrid quad. Its as fast as a pros quad even faster than some. The power to weight ratio of my quad is about the same as a corvet so that meens my quad would stick with a corvet in a drag till i top out. If it was never used its MSRP would be easly over $13,000!...

I had wash board abbs for like 2 years then my quad was all tore apart for about 8 months so my abbs kind of went away. Their coming back again though. __________________________________________________ _______ For me to make my quad a hybrid i had to cut the motor skid plate mounts off. I had to weld 2 new motor mounts in. I had to make 2 aluminum mounts. I needed to make a Air boot. I needed to notch the frame for the intake boot to fit. Then i needed to add a gesset in were the frame was notched. I needed to make radiator mounts to hold the radiator. I needed to cut the coil mounts off for the radiator hose. I needed to mount the oil tank a couple inches back for the over sized radiator to fit. I needed to cut 2" off the back of the muffler and and cut 3 inches off the front of the muffler. Then i had to put it on back words so i could get around needing bend the mid pipe. I cut the ratter spickets so the watter lines could point the right way. I zip tied the electricle to the frame. I needed to make a kick start extention so the kicker could clear the frame. Thats all it took for me.

gay homos meens i dont like em along with most boys and my quad is fast as a built 450 and some pros run stock yfz450s with only a pipe so yes my quad would be faster than some pros quads.

Nothing choped up.

By stock i meen it does say valves/cams/carb/ porting exc.... and some say all stock and the only performance mod is a exhaust system.

What is your classification of what is included in the motor? Are you saying that no pro motocrosser runs an aftermarket cam or valves? No pro has no headwork does whatsoever? Maybe a local pro, but I doubt any national racer has nothing done to their motor, and they leave it in "stock" form straight from the showroom.

yup, the have the money and sponsers so why not use them? some of those motors r pushing 62-63hp....i highly dought that ur motor is pushing that mr slow....no offense or anything, but that takes some serious $$$$ most of them guys got 7K invested into the motors, and and their whole machines r worth 25-30K
