ok, so i have teken some pics so you guys can help me, anyways, here is what I have on the hiem joints on the spindle. i left the one on top scewed all the way in, and only brought out the bottom hiem so the top of tire would point inward.

OK first things first. You have the top of your tires pointed inward. This is known as negative camber. This is fine and is the preferred stance for MX. However you did it backwards. Screw the bottom heim all the way in!!! It takes a lot of stress as the shock is mounted to the lower arm. Screw that all the way in and adjust your camber with the top heim.

Next the heims that mount the arms to the frame are used for squaring up your arms if you have a slightly tweaked frame, but mostly for adjusting what is known as castor. Imagine your spindle free floating. Draw an imaginary line through the center of each hole on the spindle (where the heims mount) Ok now your castor is measured in degrees from vertical to this line. It's kind of difficult to measure but yes you should use the gauge you showed.

Also here is a VERY helpful link...read this and see if it helps to understand more.. http://www.lsracing.com/img/Guide_21.pdf

Also your toe-in looks to be off from the pictures...that would definitely make steering feel twitchy.
