Im trying to put a crf450 timing chain in the 416ex. Is there anything i can use around the house to keep the clutch hub/basket from spinning when im trying to loosen that nut? Could i stick a screw driver in there to keep it from spinning, i know there is some chance of breaking the clutch hub but its a risk im willing to take! let me know what you guys use to get the clutch assembly off! thanks, Josh.

An impact wrench is what you want. If you don't have an air compressor, I'd rather invest in an electric impact wrench then risk breaking the basket (whick has a good chance of breaking if you stick a screwdriver in there).

It's always spun the nut right off for me. I've watched a guy use an electric impact at the dunes on a Warrior and that worked too.
