Does anyone know what size the main and pilot jets are stock on a 05 trx450? What sizes do you think I need for 0-minus 15*C? Engine, filter and exhaust is all stock. Thanks.

Well, it looks like the main is 118??? and the pilot is 48? I thought the main would be bigger?

Stock 04/05 TRX450R.

Main = 118
Pilot = 48
A/F Screw = 2 turns out

For winter, I would richen the main to a 122 or 125, and take the A/F screw out another 1/2 turn IF AND ONLY IF you start popping on decel.

yep, thats it. the main jet will be a lot bigger if you take the air box lid off.

many of times with a pipe and open air box lid you could be around a 180 or so.

i have an 06 trx 450er , had 118 main original, installed full exaust, k&n, filter sock, cut a 5" x 6" hole in lid and installed a 180 main jet runs great @ 1800 ft or so, before re-jetting ran wayyyy lean!

an 06 will be different from an 04/05. a 180 seems pretty big for a 06, but that is just a guess.
