Hey when you guys change ur oil, Do you Measure it out, or just watch the sight glass??? I measured it out to what it said in the Service manual, and it seemed like it was too much!

Watch the site glass.
Fill it up to the H.
Start it up and let it idle for 30 seconds.
Let it sit for a couple minutes.
Check the site glass again.
If needed, add oil to where it is exactly on the H.
The site glass is there for this reason :).

BTW, don't over fill. If you did, I would recommend pulling the drain plug and draining some oil out. Too much oil is not a good thing.
I usually fill mine to just below the H with great results. My engine builder does the same, and has been doing so for over 3 years now on his MX 04' 450R.
But...for liability issues on a stock piston, make sure the oil level is at the H on level ground :).

Most of the time I end up putting the whole qt in. It says it takes .89qt or some **** but for the last 2.5years i've been putting the whole thing in and havent had a issue.
when i was at loretta lynns GNC & GNCC all the pro racers bikes were over the site glass. how much I do not know but I know they were all past the H mark :ermm:
