The muffler on my Ute is very quiet , i don't like it :( At the end of the muffler there is a little nose that comes out of the end of the larger part. I was wondering if i could somehow cut that off so that the muffler would end at the large part, hoping that it will make it a little bit louder:rolleyes: What are the repercautions to this?, will it make it loose compression ,or decrease performance.?

What bike is it? Opening a Stock exhaust sometimes helps on power but not like aftermarket. It will be louder.

my make it louder, does that make it cooler? leave it stock before you shut down more riding areas:o

The exhuast is stock , and no i don't think that louder is cooler, its just a bonus . Im initially trying to get some extra power out of it with out paying barley anything so i can use my money else where ......like new atv:) Yes i am conservative about where i ride and how i ride so if your worried about them shutting down my backyard as an area to ride , its not happening

what kind of bike is it, some places you can get a replacement end cap for them that will free them up.
