Air filter oil

Is there anything else i can use on my air filter becides air filter oil to keep dirt out? Also, is it true that a k and n filter will let dust pass without an outerwear?

The best that you can use is foam filter oil on a foam filter and K&N oil on a K&N filter. The K&N filter will let fine dust past though the filter without the outerwears.
