I just installed dmc 916 exhaust, a 35mm single carb kit, and these +2+1 a-arms with elkas. I get a chance to ride it on Thursday. I also have a matching red -2 swinger but I am waiting to install that.

What did that swingarm cost you? I'm friends with your buddy Nick, that rides the TRI-Z. I race tt on a banshee and am thinkin that a shortened swinger is the next thing i need.

Well I got a used stock one that was professionally shortened for $130 then $40 for the powdercoat. Look at the swingarmshop on ebay. I think they run $200 brand new and are probaly lighter than stock

If you don't already have some +1" forward a-arms GET SOME. They make it a whole new bike. It handles so good now. They blew my expectations outta the water. With the stock a-arms it is like someone is sitting on your bars, which makes it harder to turn. With these it is really easy to turn. The front end feels really light and you don;t have to fight the bike in the corners. The only problem is it isn't as stable at high speeds because the front end is "lighter", but that is something I will get used to. Like I said before if you don't already have some a-arms that are +1" forward GET SOME. They are worth every penny. You won't be dissapointed. They make a HUGE difference

I also took off those +2+3 rims on the front in the pic and went back to the stock offset. So I gained 4 inches over stock rather than 6. With the extra 2" that I got (+4 for the arms -2) for the stock rims) my bike gained a lot of stability while turning. It feels so much more untippy at higher speeds in the corners.

Well this is the 916 but I think the only difference is the dual silencers

Yeah I hear toomies are great for top end, but this carb/ pipe combo hits good low, hits extremely well mid, and hits good on top. Plus it was only $525 with a spark arrestor.
