450R Rear Shock on 250R?

Is anyone successfully running this? I think the newer 450R rear shock is almost the same lenght as the stock 250R rear shock. I know it's hard to make it fit with the reservoir at the top and the bottom will have to be ground down but if anyone has one on their quad, post pics.

Not really, the resevoir it to large an will get in the way. I dont think the fork will mate up to the 250r linkage. The chassis side of the linkage will need spacing, the swingarm side will need some filing.


I didn't mess with the idea to much seemed like a waste of time after the shock didn't look to clear.

Also a 450r swinger will not work in the 250r the casting is to large and hits the lower linkage mount.
