I have had my 400ex for about 3years and on many occasions had it topped out but I have never hit the rev limiter in 5th? Has anyone? I mean it seems to get to top speed quickly but never bounces off the rev limiter like other quads I ride with..

When your quad is stock you never hit the rev limiter, I put a high comp piston in and I can't not hit it.

You could always use a new revbox itll help ya out a lil.
