what would you guys do for mx racing??

saving up to a:
sparks exhaust
or
the LRD Pro 4 Series

?

the lrd adds 12 Horsepower , how much does the sparks ?

The Sparks and LRD pipes are decent pipes at best. They leave a lot to be desired.

Don't expect a pipe to add 12 horsepower. Those claims are ludacris. Most pipes will add 3-5 horsepower MAX, and thats if you are able to get them jetted just right.

Go with a DASA or Rossier (all applications except duners), or a Ron Woods (for the duners).

I currently use the HMF Full system on my 05' 450R. It has a great bottom and midrange hit, but it falls off pretty bad on top. I bought it because I got a great deal on it, and I didn't have the means to spend $450-$500 on a brand new pipe at the time of purchase.

Now, I'm kicking myself for not getting the one that I wanted in the first place. But...I just ordered a DASA pipe :).

I'll have a Polished HMF Full system for an 04/05 450R up for sale within the next two weeks if you want :). HAHA.

I also used an HMF before switching to DASA, and feel the same way. The bottom end is strong, but the top end dies down and leaves you wanting more. Since I switched to DASA I could not be happier. Pulls hard from bottom to top!

Rossier:D . It has proven the best for stock/low compression (below 14:1) motors. And it is priced right to...
