Well I haven't seen it yet, since he lives in the next town over and I haven't gone seen him yet. But its a 1996 ford f350, extended cab, long bed, standard, no radio(broke down in bad part of town and got stolen). He picked it up for $600. But it needs a clutch. He said the body looks good and the inside looks good. Sounds like a good deal? they said about $300 to fix. it has about 250,000 miles:eek2: . well tell me what you think.

oh yeah, its a diesel, IDk if they all or or not but it is

$600 for a diesel? want your money back? double? you stole it, if it will only cost $300 to make it run, the motor is well worth it even if the body is junk.

ya thats a real good deal. 250,000 is not that bad if the truck has been taken care of.

My buddies farm truck is a mid 80's F350 fith well over 600k.

The power plant alone is worth well over 900.

ok well thats reassuring to know lol. it also just had a rebuilt transmission. what kind of motors come in them? like what else could it be besides the 7.2? I forgot to ask so im not sure what's in it.

Even if the engine is trashed you could easily part it out for 10x the amount you paid for it.

im probably gonna be the one to end up having it, which i dont mind. I dont know much about vehicles, does anyone know what other motors came in them? I know its not a dually if that makes a difference.

My next question would be "what else is wrong with it."

clutch is gonna be atleast 800 bucks, if u get some1 else to do it. if the tranny was just rebuilt why wasnt the clutch replaced. still a deal

idk exactly, but I know the tranny went out then the guy had that fixed, but never finished or something, IDK exactly. But my uncle will be doing it. Yeh I meant 7.3, it was a typo. I think the reason it was so cheap is because its a guy that makes pretty much ,money (offshore), but he wasnt getting a check for a couple weeks so he needed money for not so good things. So yeah that can explain the cheap price.
