No Spark

i have a honda 250x but it wont start and to come to find out the spark plug is getting no spark could this be from the cdi box or even the stator? or could this be from mixed up wires i have no clue i have been messing around with it for awhile but no luck thanks

I went to start my 1987 TRX 250 X today and found I had the same problem as you. Did you ever find out what was wrong with yours? I tried a different plug but to no avail. Do these quads have points???? Help!

i had that problem on my x before. i tested all the wires with a little tester my friends dad made. turns out my killswitch was grounding on the handlebars (stock switch). that might be it. it could be anything though.

yes it was the wires going to the kill switch somehow they turned out being bad and i just replaced those wires and it sparks now
